Description
Sikhara - Live in the United States 2007-2008
Their first ever "live" album is in fact captured in the studios of two of the finest radio stations in America, WFMU and KFJC. The two sets from which this disc was culled were from the Bardos States and Anduni USA tour respectively.
During the years 2007 - 2008, Sikhara toured relentlessly in Europe, but did not step foot on American ground. Yet each year since then, they have managed an annual cross country excursion. These recordings capture Sikhara in fine mid-tour form and are the closest recordings to the live Sikhara spectacle the band has released to date. Featuring Steve Mackay (of Iggy and the Stooges). Cover designed by Frank Suchomel.

Reviews
"This hard-working ever-touring combo presents rhythm tracks you could refer to as Liars or maybe Flowers of Romance era PiL,...The energy in the music references what we used to hear during the heyday of the Industrial bands. It's exciting..." - Ptolemaic Terrascope"...the name Crash Worship pops into my head, but perhaps also a bit of Test Department or Einsturzende Neubauten..." - Vital Weekly
"...a particularly nice melding and layering of sounds, with not only a jazz vibe and instruments, but percussive accents and buried operatic vocals..." -KFJC
